Get to know us
Little Petals is a family-run nursery, led by our Manager, Stephanie Doyle, and Deputy Manager, Laura McNelis. We’re committed to providing a warm, safe, and nurturing environment that supports every child’s individual needs.
We’re registered to care for up to 80 children aged 4 months to 5 years, and we’re open from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
We understand the worries parents can feel when balancing work and family life — especially when leaving a child for the first time. That’s why we focus on helping every child feel secure, happy, and cared for.
To support this, we offer a gradual settling-in process. Children spend time in their playroom with a parent or carer first, then slowly build up time at the nursery on their own, getting to know their Key Worker and building a trusting relationship.

Early Educators
At Little Petals, we know caring for children is a huge responsibility, and we take it very seriously. Our staff are carefully selected for their experience, kindness, and commitment to providing the very best care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
All team members are appointed through a thorough recruitment process in accordance with Ofsted requirements and complete an enhanced DBS check before joining us. Our rooms are led by qualified practitioners, supported by trained assistants, and all staff are fully trained in Safeguarding, Health & Safety, and Paediatric First Aid.
We’re proud of our stable team and low staff turnover, with many staff members having been part of Little Petals since the very beginning.
