Our Staff....

Taking care of children is a great responsibility and here at Little Petals, staff members are chosen for their ability to provide the best care for your child based on the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Staff are appointed following a vigorous and careful selection process in accordance with Ofsted requirements and are subjected to enhanced checks by the Data Barring System (DBS)  before joining our team.

Each room is run by a qualified practitioner who with the support of their assistant's are responsible for their own key groups.

Staff hold various accredited qualifications such as NVQ (Levels 2,3 an upwards), and Degree's. We encourage all our staff to keep updated and extend their Early Years knowledge by attending regular early years specific training courses and seminars.

Each member of the team have to attend a First Aid Course and gain suitable accreditation and are trained to have an understanding of Health and Safety, First Aid and Safe Guarding.

Parents and Carers can be assured that Little Petals take pride in the low staff turnover within our nursery, with the majority of our team being with us from the start of our journey.
