Newsletter for Winter 2018...

Happy New Year to you all......

2017 was a good year for all our children at Little Petals...In September we said goodbye to all our Pre School children and wished them the best for the future we have missed them all. October we had our Halloween party and saw a lot of very good outfits thank you to all the parents for providing outfits for their children.

Cash for Kids was amazing...between all  staff and children we raised a staggering £370 which the proprietor's of Little Petals matched so we were able to present a cheque to Cash 4 Kids for the amount of £740.....amazing.

Well Done Everyone.......

At Little Petals we have a completely open door policy, where you can talk to us about anything. We are here for you, so if you have any concerns, comments or queries, please don’t hesitate to speak to a member of staff, or your child’s key person.

Parents News....

From the 1st of May our fee's will be increased. Letters have been sent to all parents/carers explaining this. Staff will continue to provide a high standard of care to all children.

We are reminding parents that after stomach bugs, particularly sickness and diarrhea there is a 48 hour absence policy from nursery to stop it spreading.

Our topic for our Winter newsletter is all about the children learning about the changing of the season, exploring nature, splashing in puddles and looking at all the different leafs........

The children of Little Petals have been learning about the different varieties of birds.

Learning their names, where the birds live and finding out what food they eat.

We've also had great fun making wellington prints with our shoes..........

Merry Christmas from Little Petals ...

A Day in the Outdoors

Pre school children were looking for mini beasts in amongst the leaves as well as concocting potions in the mud kitchen.

The children in pre-school were busy bees colour mixing with cotton buds, using sand to make cupcakes and using props and small world toys for imaginative role play.
